School of Technology of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University

The School of Technology announces admission of its fourth batch of 4 year B.Tech programme in Civil, Electrical and MechanicalEngineering.
The 4 Year B.Tech Programme in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering is based on an integrated approach of relevant basic science and engineering and industry technology operations.

The University has been established by the Act of the Gujarat
Legislature, on 4th April 2007. Moreover, the Programme is well recognized by the Industry, in terms of relevance, quality and earnestness to cater to the futuristic need.

Selection Process
Admission to the 2010 batch of 4 Year B Tech Programme will be based on the All India Merit Rank in AIEEE 2010 (All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2010), conducted by CBSE on 25th April, 2010. Therefore, only those candidates who are appeared in AIEEE 2010 can apply for this programme.
The short-listed candidates, based on the All India Ranking of AIEEE 2010, will be called for counselling at School of Technology Campus and will be offered admission in order of their merit (based on the AIEEE 2010 ranking).
Number of Seats
The School offers 4 Year B.Tech Programme in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
Civil Engineering : 60 seats
Electrical Engineering : 60 seats
Mechanical Engineering : 60 seats
50% Seats are allotted as Gujarat State Quota in each Programme.
Reservation :
For candidates form Gujarat (120 seats):
1 Schedule Caste (SC) 7%
2. Schedule Tribe (ST) 15%
3. Physically Challenged (PC) 3%
For candidates from Rest of India & Ut’s (120 seats):
4. Schedule Caste (SC) 15%

Eligibility
Candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics and should have appeared for AIEEE-2010 conducted by CBSE on 25th April,2010.
Candidates should have scored the minimum required marks in AIEEE-2010 to be eligible for Engineering Admission as stipulated by Central Counselling Board (CCB).
