History

Department of Science got its identity in 2011. Since then it is contributing positively to the university as a part of School of Technology. Department has been established with an objective to promote teaching and research in Sciences. Department of Science is actively engaged in research and teaching in the frontier areas of experimental and theoretical Physics and Chemistry. The department offers M.Sc.in Physics and Chemistry and Ph.D. program to the students. Excellence in research and teaching has been the hallmark of the Department ever since its inception. The department has very good faculty strength; all the faculty members of the department are extremely well qualified (Ph.D./P.D.F), and motivated with a strong commitment to teaching and research having their expertise in various recent research areas. The Department of Sciences has well equipped laboratories with advanced experimental facilities along with computational approach.
